The Federal Office for Administrative Services (BAV) is a central service provider within the federal authorities family of the Federal Ministry of Transport (BMV). Our broad range of tasks for over 40 authorities with around 25,000 employees includes cross-authority personnel management, the implementation of funding programs, and a wide variety of consulting services.

We modernize and enhance the administrative capacity and actively contribute to future-oriented topics such as digitalization and climate-neutral mobility. Our goal is to provide the best possible support to the authorities, allowing them to focus on their responsible work.

The BAV acts as a supporter, advisor, and companion on the path toward a sustainable, digital, and future-proof federal transport administration.

As the approval authority for numerous funding programs in the fields of climate-friendly and digital mobility, we also make an important contribution to a livable and innovative Germany.
