With SmartDocuments, it’s easy to create stylish, personalized documents—fully automated. Based on pre-made, intelligent #Templates, documents are generated and personalized by end users via a simple question-and-answer dialog, or alternatively, automatically via XML/JSON files.

Large volumes, complex documents ...

But what if you need to create not just 10, 100, or 1,000—but more than 10,000 documents at once? Suppose you want to generate a very large number of complex documents, such as invoices, pay slips, letters—for example, about rent increases—in short, documents that differ not only in personalized addressing, sent to tens of thousands of recipients.

Our standard version starts to struggle a bit in this case 🤯. That’s exactly where our add-on module “High Volume” comes in. It enables the fast and efficient creation of different documents using different XML files. Retrieving the data, correctly transferring it into the template, generating the document, and sending it are separate processes that all come into play for these documents. Pretty complex and taxing when dealing with large volumes of documents.

That’s why our “High Volume” add-on module works with multiple queues that are processed asynchronously.
