By exchanging experiences, identifying typical "patterns" of failure, and thus gaining insights for better future project design.
The virtual event we plan to offer in autumn as part of this SVE community aims to engage with IT entrepreneurs and decision-makers to discuss why IT projects (unfortunately, repeatedly) fail and how systemic change and project management approaches with pattern breaks in the various phases can minimize the risks of failure. By analyzing failed projects and critically evaluating our own experiences based on selected questions that enable a "reload" of typical thought patterns and familiar concepts—and thus encourage behavioral changes at various levels—concrete opportunities for "good practices" will be developed that can be applied in practice.

Furthermore, this could lead to a deeper exploration of the topic, for which suitable formats (such as "peer consulting") will be sought and offered, up to and including the integration of such reflection and development formats into the training or consulting services of the participating companies, thereby generating clear added value for their business.
