Visualization of organizations/authorities, understanding, acting – the IT organization of the future?

Dikomm 2024 will be held virtually on 14 and 15 November 2024. As part of this event, smart2success will host a workshop led by Janis Zettel and Jörg Kretschmar.

The workshop will take place on 14 November from 14:30 to 15:25 and is titled “Visualisierung von Organisationen/Behörden, verstehen, handeln – die IT-Organisation der Zukunft?”

Workshop content

The workshop provides knowledge transfer and exchange of ideas, approaches and best-practice concepts based on many years of management experience from smart2success generalists. Participants will learn how central administrative tasks can be implemented more efficiently via a central software platform and how complex specialist procedures can be realised in a resource-optimised way. The workshop is specifically aimed at authorities seeking efficient and flexible management solutions.

Workshop objectives

The workshop will demonstrate how authorities can be made more resilient, efficient, reliable and sustainable on an ongoing basis with minimal effort.

- Changes: What has changed in municipal administration? What further changes will digitalisation bring?
- Concrete impacts: What do these changes mean for our daily work? What data and information do I need for smooth operations?
- Optimisation: What changes are necessary to improve our work and optimise the security of our specialist procedures, including in emergencies?
- Process adaptation: How can we change entrenched specialist procedures? Is this feasible without additional resources and staff?
- Shaping the future: What could a successful future IT organisation for a municipality look like?
