If it doesn’t fit, we’ll make it fit!

The manufacturer Gigaset recommends mounting its  multi-cell solutions N870 IP PRO and N670 IP PRO at least 0.5 meters below the ceiling. However, until recently, there were no suitable brackets available to lower the transmitters from the ceiling.

As we at BBCom are known for finding simple solutions to common problems, we promptly had such brackets produced for our customers. (Naturally in Germany!)

We would also be happy to make them available to the partners of Silicon Valley Europe.

By positioning the devices precisely, the radio coverage is optimized, reflections are reduced, and a stable DECT connection is ensured.

What can restrict the range of DECT transmitters?

Metallic structures (e.g., steel beams) interfere with the DECT signal. This often leads to:

  • Reflections: Steel reflects radio waves, causing multipath effects. The signal reaches the receiver distorted or delayed, degrading voice quality.
  • Signal attenuation: Steel can significantly reduce signal strength, limiting the range of the DECT transmitter.
  • Connection interruptions: In some cases, complete connection interruptions may occur, making communication difficult in everyday work.
